5 out of 5 stars Buy 8 singles instead   February 16, 2010

These stakes are the bomb, but it is cheaper to buy 8 singles than 1 kit

4 out of 5 stars Escellent stakes, but too expensive   February 16, 2010
Ryan L. Burrill (Minnesota, USA)
I really like the design of these stakes. Their triangular design gives them strength so that they do not bend. Would be nice if they had more of a hook at the top, but they're plenty functional the way they are. They could be a bit cheaper, but I suppose they could cost a bit more too, so all in all I'm very satisfied with them, highly recommended.

4 out of 5 stars Quality won't bend   February 7, 2010

Although I haven't used this product yet because I haven't been camping since I got them, they appear to be a quality product that will perform as I need them to. I'm tired of the cheap little pegs that come with tents that bend the first time you try to put them in something harder than sand.

My next camping trip is 2010 Bike Week in Daytona Beach, so we'll put them to the test.

I just received my first set today.I now understand why everyone likes these so much.First, they are made out of the strongest grade of material we used to build aircraft, strong, but light.Second, the shape, the pics really don't do them justice, they are three sided like a broadhead for an arrow and have the diameter of a dime.Very small surface area for less friction when knocking them in,and because of the strong three sided shape they could be wiggled back out without damage.Very nice,I will buy more in the future.

5 out of 5 stars Worth the money   January 14, 2010

Much better then any stake you can buy at Walmart or similar stores. As long you dont lose them they will last, the sting loop is nice for pulling them out. If they are really stuck stick the handle of your hammer though the loop and pull, I have yet to bust the string.
